Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo has found himself in a rather unfamiliar territory after he was cast as a coward by ex-Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale. Kilonzo Jr had shared a tweet about the running battles between police and NASA supporters who had gone to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to welcome Raila Odinga.

The tweet that got Mutula Kilonzo in trouble read: “The police are throwing stones at cars.

This is going to be a long evening.” True but where were u? the former Kakamega senator retorted sparking awkward exchanges between the leaders-who are in the same political camp- and their supporters.

Not to go down easily, Mutula hit back stating that he had been elected by 97% of the electorate in Makueni, a tweet he later deleted after another comeback by Khalwale that seemed to suggest the legislator was in oce courtesy of his late dead.
