ODM Chair John Mbadi Speaks on NASA Challenging Uhuru's Win in Court...GAME OVER!!!


Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Chairman John Mbadi has stated that the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition will not move to court to challenge President Uhuru Kenyatta's win. Speaking during a panel discussion on Citizen TV on Tuesday evening, the Suba South MP revealed that they would air their grievances through the people's assembly.

"As NASA, we will not challenge the results of the presidential election in court. We will have a people’s assembly where Kenyans will speak to other Kenyans," the opposition leader declared. He affirmed that the opposition coalition was not satisfied with the repeat presidential election.

"We have not had an election that has produced a president who the people wanted. "The National Resistance Movement is going to be opposed to electoral fraud.

 Jubilee’s understanding of National Resistance Movement is faulty. It is not a militia group," he stated. Mr Mbadi further stated that they were willing to dialogue with the government on matters relating to the election. "The only discussion we will entertain is on how to conduct a fresh election that is credible.

In a quick rejoinder, Uasin Gishu Woman Representative Gladys Shollei stated that there were conditions that were to be met first before the dialogue took place. "We can have dialogue, but it has to be within the law," she maintained.
