RUTO plans to dump UHURU ahead of polls? See what is happening at his private office in Nairobi since 2007 as MP for Eldoret North and also as a Minister in the Grand Coalition Government. He visited the office the last time in 2015 and it has since remained closed. Sources have intimated that Ruto had adopted PDR as a fallback plan in case things don’t go as planned in Jubilee during and after the August 8th General Election. The party may also come in handy for his 2022 Presidential bid in case President Uhuru Kenyatta and Mt. Kenya decide to throw him under the bus. During a rally in Wajir on Saturday, President Uhuru Kenyatta gave the party the nod to work with Jubilee, where he urged residents to vote for him at the top but embrace smaller parties like PDR at the grass roots.
